CONGRATULATIONS TO NICK HAUFF, 8th grade Student of the Week!

THERE WILL BE A SIGN UP AND INFORMATION MEETING for all students interested in participating in MIHA (Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association) for both Junior High (grades 6-8) and High School on WED. March 18th, 2009 at 6:30 in room 5 in the junior high. Please bring a picture of your horse, $25.00 riding fee, and your parents to this meeting. If you are not sure if you would like to participate, please come for information! All riders are welcome and we will find a place for you to participate! High Schoolers I have information for you regarding a riding/jumping clinic to be held in May sponsored by MIHA and we are looking for helpers for the JH team.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SEVENTH GRADE VOLLEYBALL TEAM for winning both of their matches last night. The teams beat Pinconning 2-1 and Oscoda 2-1. They showed some great serving, as well as good passing. The eighth grade team had a tough night, dropping both of their matches, losing to Pinconning A 1-2 and Pinconning B 0-3
BAND STUDENTS: If you are going to ride home with your parents after the band festival this week-end, you must have a note signed by Mr. Grusecki in advance. You will give the signed note to Mr. Akers.

· THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED: March 10, 11, 12 and 13 - all day - for the MME and on March 17 - all day - for the NHS Blood Drive.

ATTENTION ALL 7TH – 12TH GRADERS: Spring youth bowling league begins on Monday, March 16th. For information is posted on the office window.

LITTLE LEAGUE SIGN-UP FORMS are available in the Jr. High office. Tawas students can sign up at Zion Lutheran Church on March, 9, 10, and 17 from 6pm – 8pm.

TUTORING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE on Tuesday morning from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and Thursday after school until 3:30 p.m. in the Tech Lab.
