· TAWAS JR. HIGH VOLLEYBALL played tough as they took on Rose City and Oscoda. The seventh grade team played great as they dominated in their games taking Oscoda 2-1 and sweeping Rose City 3-0. The eighth grade lost both of their matches but the games were very tight and were lost by only two or three points. The last matches of the season will be played at home on Wednesday vs. Whittemore at 6:30 and Oscoda at 7:00
· JR. HIGH VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS: Please meet in the gym at 5:30 on Wednesday for team pictures. We play our first match at 6:30 and the second at 7:00. The squads for each game will be posted at 5:30 so you know which game you will be playing in. Wear your red shirts to school on Wednesday. Please bring a shirt to change into for the match Wednesday night as we will collect your t-shirts after the game.
· PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PINCHING OTHER STUDENTS OR ADULTS TODAY.

They showed some great serving, as well as good passing. The eighth grade team had a tough night, dropping both of their matches, losing to Pinconning A 1-2 and Pinconning B 0-3
BAND STUDENTS: If you are going to ride home with your parents after the band festival this week-end, you must have a note signed by Mr. Grusecki in advance. You will give the signed note to Mr. Akers.

THE 7TH & 8TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL TEAMS had their first matches last night. The eighth grade team beat Standish 2-1 and lost a very close match to Pinconning 1-2. The 7th grade squad lost to strong Pinconning and Standish squads but improved throughout the night.
BAND STUDENTS: If you are going to ride home with your parents after the band festival this week-end, you must have a note signed by Mr. Grusecki in advance. You will give the signed note to Mr. Akers.
· THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED: March 10, 11, 12 and 13 - all day - for the MME and March 17 - all day - for the NHS Blood Drive.

ONCE AGAIN, we have multiple students who earned Key #2 yesterday. They include the following who presented their collages and showcased their potential: Porsche Moore, Taylor Kinney, Emily Dombrowski, Christian Wygant, Ivy Schaaf – all from first hour. Next we have Abbie Cadorette, Grace Martin, and Lauren Aitken from second hour. Lastly, from fifth hour, our earners are Jessica Kuligowski, Hannah Rodriguez, Katie Edwards, Gabby Morris, and Patrick Ryan. Way to GO FOR IT young ladies and gentlemen! M. Sass
CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE ON AND VISIBLE IN SCHOOL DURING THE DAY. First offense: The phone will be turned in to office and kept for 24 hours. Second offense: The phone will be kept in the office for your parent to pick up.
· THERE WILL BE A VOLLEYBALL MEETING today during lunch for girls interested in Jr. High Volleyball. The meting is in Room # 7 @ 12.15. Bring your lunch to room # 7.
